PORTFOLIO GUIDANCE

As a young artist, building a strong portfolio is the first step to creative success. Your college counselor may support your academic success, but probably doesn’t have a clue what you need for an art portfolio. Whether you’re applying to a BFA, MFA, or Liberal Arts program, I can help you:

  • Understand exactly what art programs are looking for

  • Select your strongest pieces

  • Build skills and create new work to fill in any gaps in your portfolio

  • Navigate the requirements of art school applications

  • Size, edit, and format work to fit guidelines

  • Write statements and image descriptions to highlight your skills and techniques

  • Understand how a strong art portfolio can help ANY application
